Was ist nara?

Das „nara – netzwerk antirassistische aktion kiel“ ist ein von Parteien und staatlichen Institutionen unabhängiges Treffen. Es dient als Netzwerk von Einzelpersonen, Gruppen und Initiativen dem Informationsaustausch, der gegenseitigen Unterstützung bei antirassistischer Arbeit und der Initiierung von politischen Projekten und Aktionen.

Im Bewusstsein unterschiedlicher politischer Standpunkte und Analysen, wie eine antirassistische Gesellschaft zu erreichen sei, ist die gemeinsame Basis der Kampf gegen den Rassismus in den Institutionen (z.B. in Form von Abschiebelagern, repressiver Asylverfahren, und einer rassistischen Verurteilungspraxis vor Gericht) und den gesellschaftlichen/strukturellen Rassismus (sichtbar z.B. an den in letzter Zeit vermehrt auftretenden sogenannten Bürger*Innen-Begehren gegen Unterkünfte von Asylbewerber*Innen z.B. in Berlin-Hellersdorf und der rassistischen Mobilmachung von PEGIDA, etc.), der auch auf der interaktionellen Ebene wirkt (auf den Arbeitsplatz unter Kolleg*innen, in der Sprache, etc.).

Trotz der Hierarchien aufgrund von unterschiedlichen Privilegien streben wir im Netzwerk eine möglichst hierarchiefreie Arbeitsweise an. Das heißt auch, dass wir im Netzwerk vorhandene Rassismen thematisieren und bearbeiten. Wir wissen, dass Rassismus sich nicht nur auf einer ideellen Ebene manifestiert, sondern ein substanziell/materiell wirkendes Herrschaftsverhältnis ist. Aus dem Verständnis heraus müssen wir uns der Widersprüche, die hierdurch bei unserer Arbeit entstehen (z.B. Machtgefälle und Abhängigkeiten bei der Unterstützung von Asylsuchenden) bewusst werden, sie reflektieren und Arbeitsstrategien entwickeln, die den Hierarchien praktisch entgegenwirken.

Das Übertreten von Gesetzen halten wir für ein notwendiges und legitimes Mittel, gerade weil einige von uns dazu gezwungen werden (Verstoß gegen Residenzpflicht, (Selbst-)Schutz gegen rassistische Übergriffe, Besetzung als Aktionsform oder zur Raumbeschaffung, etc.). Wir lassen uns keine Entsolidarisierung innerhalb des Netzwerkes durch Repression aufzwingen und werden ihr praktisch und aktiv solidarisch entgegentreten.

Da Rassismus im Kern der bürgerlichen Gesellschaft und ihren Institutionen verankert ist, stellen/unterstützen wir nicht nur Forderungen, die in der derzeitigen Situation die Lebensbedingungen von People of Color, Geflüchteten und illegalisierten Menschen verbessern sollen und suchen nach praktischer Umsetzung dieser. Sondern sehen die Notwendigkeit für einen strukturellen gesellschaftlichen Wandel und setzten uns für dessen Verwirklichung ein. Dazu gehört u.a. eine Welt ohne Grenzen, das Recht einer*s jeden sich frei zu bewegen und den Ort des Lebens uneingeschränkt selbst wählen zu dürfen.

Wir wissen, dass Rassismus nicht losgelöst von anderen Herrschaftsstrukturen zu benennen und zu bekämpfen ist. Von daher müssen wir die Verknüpfung von Rassismus, Sexismus und Kapitalismus analysieren und in unsere Praxis miteinbeziehen.

Das Netzwerk arbeitet in Arbeitsgruppen (AGs). Inhaltliche Ausrichtung und Aktionsebene liegen in der Autonomie der AGs, solange sie nicht den Grundsätzen des nara zuwiderlaufen (z.B. rassistische Positionierung, Vereinnahmung durch Parteien, das Durchbrechen des horizontalen Organisationsprinzips etc.). Entscheidungen werden im monatlichen Netzwerktreffen durch einen Konsens gefällt. Wir greifen in Entscheidungsprozessen flexibel auf unterschiedliche Kommunikationswerkzeuge, z.B. negatives Stimmungsbild u.ä. zurück. Es gibt die Möglichkeit eines Vetos, welches begründet und so ggf. zur weiteren Diskussion zur Disposition gestellt wird.

The “nara – network for antiracist action kiel” is a meeting independent of any political party or state institutions. As a Network it provides exchange of informations, mutual benefit in antiracist work and the start up of political projects and actions for individuals, groups and initiatives.

In consciousness of different political standings and analyses in which way an antiracist society needs to become real, the common base is the fight against racism within institutions (for example the deportation camps, repressive asylum treatment and a racist practice of convictions) and the racism among society and social structures (in the last time apparent in citizens movement against living quarters for asylum seekers for example in Berlin Hellersdorf and the racist mobilization of PEGIDA, etc.) which affects the interaction level (at work among colleagues, in language, etc.).

Despite the hierarchies due to different privileges we aspire in the network a non hierarchically functioning. This means also that we pick out existing racisms inside the network as a central theme to handle them. We know that racism is not only manifested along an ideal level, but also appears as an substantial/material affecting relation of domination. Because of this understanding we have to face the conflicts/antagonisms that are generated through our work (example the decline of power and dependence in supporting asylum seekers), reflect these antagonisms and develop a way of functioning, that counteracts hierarchies practically.

Trespassing laws is a needful and legitimate instrument, especially because some of us are forced to do so (such as violating the “Residenzpflicht”, (self-)protection against racist attacking, squatting as a form of action or for acquisition of space etc.). We wont accept any tryings to smaller our solidarity among each other through repression and we will counter repression actively and practically.

Because racism is fixed in the citizens society and their institutions we are not only supporting and demanding the current calls that should improve the living conditions of people of color, refugees, illegalized humans and searching for practical conversion of these calls, we also see the necessity for a structural social change and we campaign for its realization. Therefore belongs among others a world without borders, the right of free movement of everybody and choosing a place to live boundless by his- or herself.

We know that racism cannot be mentioned and fought uncoupled from other authority structures. Therefore we have to analyze the alliance of racism, sexism and capitalism and involve these in our practice.

The network is working in workgroups. Regardings to the contents and the level of action are located in the autonomy of the workgroups, as long as they don’t touch the conventions of the nara (for example racist positions, engrossing of parties, bursting the horizontal Principe of organization etc.). Decisions are taken through consensus in the monthly meeting of the network. In decision processes we resort flexible to different tools of communication. There is the possibility of veto, which should be justified and thereby be put up for further discussions.
